REPENTANCE AND DELIVERANCE
REPENTANCE AND DELIVERANCE

(An excerpt from The Availing Prayer - Tapping In book)

It does not matter where you are when your soul becomes faint and you come to the realization that you need God in your life. You could be in a drug house coming down off a high, you could be holding onto the toilet recovering from a drunken hangover, you could be laying on the bed next to someone's spouse, as well as you could be with some inmates in a jail cell: the place does not matter. Jonah said that he cried out unto the Lord from the belly of hell and God heard his voice. The right time to repent is immediately after you realize that you need the Lord in your life and the place does not matter. The Lord God is able to deliver your soul from any place and from any level of darkness; but such is dependent upon your repentance. Did Jonah's prayer avail before the Lord? Yes it did and he was forgiven. Was Jonah able to tap into the presence of the Lord? Jonah said, "...out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardst my voice." - Jonah 2:2. Was Jonah delivered? He surely was and not back into the water where the great fish found him, but on dry land, to the place where he should have been.

Whenever God delivers He will put you in your rightful position. Jonah was not to be on the sea going anywhere for he was sent to Nineveh by the Lord. After the Lord spoke unto the fish it vomited Jonah where he was supposed to be to execute the instructions of the Lord. When you repent you will not be another person's sweetheart and neither will you have one. When you repent,  you will not return to the drug house, keep company with drug users or focus on the pleasures of drugs, rather you will find yourself where you should be in the Lord. The same applies to every practiced sin, when your soul faints it is your reponsibility to cry out unto the Lord for deliverance. Why stay there and suffer when you can repent and be delivered by the mighty hand of God? Your deliverance is only a repentance prayer away and such prayer avails much before God's throne. Tap in through prayer and tap out from that which has held your life hostage.
